As you all know we have been hinting around that the july contest will be the biggest one yet and with out a doubt it will be! so today i will finally fill you in on the details of what will be going on!
In order for this contest to be a success we will need a minimum of 25 contestants so please invite everyone you can to this contest! the more people we get the better the prizes will be getting bigger and better the more these contest grow!
the contest will officially start July 1st at midnight and end August 15th (thats right 46 days!!!) . on july 1st the official theme and rules will be released in a journal entry detailing just what you will have to do to win!
THIS WILL BE THE HARDEST CONTEST YET! SO BRING YOUR A GAME AND BE READY TO GET CREATIVE!!!
what are you winning? well im glad you asked! you will have the choice between 2 great items!

WELL HOW ABOUT THIS!
Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N5110 Tablet - 8"!!!
WELL A LIGHTLY USED ONE ANYWAY, this was given to me by my wife who never used it and had sat in my desk until today (i have 3 tablets and dont need a 4th). will come in original box with charger papers ect.... even had a Smugg brand case!
Option 2
will be a pony plushie commission by one of the great artist here on da! this will be fully payed for by sketch ponies of course and when we narrow down a plushie artist we will announce their name for you to see there work.
this is a winner take all! no second or third place prizes will be given on this contest fiilies and gentlecolts! please keep in mind that in order for this to work you will need to be allowed to give out your physical address for us to send you your prize unless you choose a comission for a plushie. in which case you will deal directly with the artist themselves! please keep these things in mind while entering this contest! we are not responsible for you actions!

Do you have open spots currently for commissions? Well I am currently looking for folks to draw a few characters for a Fanfiction that I am writing. theses commissions will be detailed and will be paid jobs. there will 3 bucks 1 mare and 1 zebra. 5 slots total that I'm willing to pay for, can give full details and work with you to get them right. whoever does the best job will get a paid job for a cover photo for the story and a credit in the authors notes at the end of every chapter.

THE LONG WAIT IS OVER!!!
well after a long long long contest we here at sketch ponies have have come to the conclusion that contest will no longer be held unless we get a wild hair up our plots!
we did not reach the 15 person goal as we had hoped and as a result the tablet will not be given away a first prize. now i can already hear the crys of shenanigans but calm your hooves yall, we this thing isnt over yet. even though mach and i are deeply disheartened by the meek turn out of the competitors, we are blow away by the caliber of those few who were brave enough to step up and jet there work be judged! we are so blown away that we are having a hard time deciding on

EDIT: DONT FORGET! WE NEED AT LEAST 15 ENTRY'S TO MAKE THIS WORTH OUR WILD!!! IN THE EVENT THAT LESS THAN 15 PEOPLE ENTER, THE DATE WILL BE EXTENDED 15 DAYS.
IMPORTANT EDIT: after a long brony con and even longer week back home we opened the club page and see that we have only had 2 submitions. we have extended the date out to 8/15 and still no luck. in the event that we do not reach 15 submitions we will be canceling contests all together and no prizes will be awarded. im sorry guys but these contests were ment to get you guys drawing more and to help everyone reach there potential. heres hoping that we get 13 more submissions for this cont
NO CONTEST THIS MONTH! WITH GOOD REASON!
As you can see we will not be holding a contest this month, we are working on something big that will generate lots and lots of buzz and hopefully make someone very very very happy ;p . there will be a contest next month as planned and we are taking the prizes to a whole new level i am proud to say! but in order for this to happen we will need to reformat our contest rules, submission methods and lastly our prizes! some luck drawer will be made very happy and receive a amazing gift from the #Sketch-Ponies (https://www.deviantart.com/sketch-ponies) team . so best get to sharpening those pencils and blow the dust off your tablets because this is going to be the biggest draw off yet
